Louise’s Equinox 24 Hour Challenge

Louise's Equinox 24 Challenge

Louise Takes on the Ultimate Endurance Challenge

Our Health and Fitness Lead, Louise, is gearing up for one of the toughest physical challenges you could imagine – and she’s doing it all for Jubilee Park. Later this month, Louise will be lacing up her running shoes for the gruelling Equinox 24 Challenge, where participants push their limits to complete as many 10k circuits of the stunning Belvoir Estate as possible within 24 hours.

Last year, Louise smashed through an impressive 12 circuits, covering 120 kilometres in total. That’s nearly three marathons back-to-back! This year, she’s determined to go even further, training hard to beat her previous record whilst raising vital funds for a project close to her heart.

Supporting Jubilee Park’s Exciting New Development

Louise’s challenge isn’t just about personal achievement – every pound raised will directly support Jubilee Park, at a time when it is embarking on an ambitious new project that will transform how local residents access health and fitness activities.

As you know, we are building a spectacular 12-metre Dome, an impressive covered space designed to keep fitness classes and community activities running all year round, regardless of what the British weather throws at them. Picture yoga sessions continuing through autumn drizzle, circuit training classes powering through winter storms, and community events bringing people together even on the gloomiest days.

The Dome represents so much more than just shelter from the elements. It will become the heart of the park’s expanded health and fitness programme, hosting everything from gentle exercise classes for older residents to high-energy workouts for fitness enthusiasts. Beyond fitness, this versatile space will host community events, entertainment, and gatherings for the whole Woodhall Spa community.

The funds Louise raises will go directly towards purchasing essential furnishings and equipment for the Dome, bringing this inspiring vision to life. Every donation contributes to creating a space where people of all ages and abilities can access fitness opportunities, connect with their community, and improve their wellbeing.

Every Mile Counts, Every Donation Matters

Louise knows that completing multiple 10k circuits over 24 hours will test every aspect of her fitness – endurance, mental strength, and sheer determination. She’ll be running through the day and into the night, then through dawn and into the following day, all whilst maintaining the pace needed to exceed her previous achievement.

Louise’s dedication to improving community health extends far beyond her professional role – she’s literally going the extra miles to make a difference.
