JANUARY 19: SCAM AWARENESS WORKSHOP

Do you receive unwanted emails, text messages and phone calls that you think might be scams?

Are you worried about being tricked into giving away personal information or access to accounts?

The statistics around online scams and fraud in the UK are alarming, with more than 7 million people hit by a scam in the last 12 months!  Knowledge is the best defence, which is why we are offering FREE scam awareness workshops to our community.

These free workshops will be held in The Dome, and delivered by an expert from Barclays Bank.  With a relaxed and informal atmosphere, the workshop will give an insight into the most common types of online scams, the psychological tricks that scammers use to make their scams effective, and simple ways you adopt to spot scams and protect yourself online.

When:    Monday, January 19, 2026: 12pm – 2pm

You must be at least 19 years old to attend one of these workshops.
