Save Jubilee Park’s Bandstand

Jubilee Park Bandstand

Since 1935, the bandstand has stood proudly at the heart of Jubilee Park. It has been the setting for countless performances, community events, and celebrations. It’s featured in everything from wedding photos to dog walking selfies, and it’s part of many people’s memories of the park, and of Woodhall Spa.

Over the past few years, the weather has been particularly unkind, and the bandstand is now looking very sad and sorry.  But we have a plan to bring it back to its former glory this year, and we need YOUR help to do just that!

We’ve launched a campaign on Crowdfunder, to help us raise the funds needed to complete this renovation project.  We aim to

  • pressure wash the entire structure
  • repair the masonry
  • paint the entire bandstand, including the metalwork, domed roof, masonry and interior ceiling
  • replace all the lighting
